Written by George Newman Updated over a week ago You can set up a relationship from either side: add sub companies from the parent, or add parent companies from the sub company. ### How do I add sub companies? 1. Open the company you want to be the parent. 2. Go to the **Sub Companies** tab. 3. Click **Assign Company**. 4. Search for and select one or more companies using the checkboxes. 5. Click **Assign Company** to confirm. The button is turned off until at least one company is selected. Open the company you want to be the parent. Go to the **Sub Companies** tab. A confirmation message appears once the sub companies have been assigned. ### What does the Sub Companies tab show? - The tab name shows how many sub companies there are, for example **Sub Companies (2)**. - Each sub company has an **ellipsis (⋯)** menu: - **View** opens its detail page. - **Unassign** removes it from this parent. Open the company you want to place under a parent. 2. Find the **Parent Companies** section in the right sidebar. 3. Click **Assign**. 4. Search for and select one or more parent companies. 5.
