Written by George Newman December 22, 2025 ### What is a company in Makula? A company represents an external organisation you work with, such as a customer, supplier, or distributor. Companies are linked to assets and work orders, allowing you to track service history and manage relationships. ### How do I access Companies? **Navigation:** Open your Field Service workspace, then select **Companies** from the sidebar. ### What information does a company contain? Each company record includes: - **Company Name:** The name of the organisation - **Company Type:** Customer, supplier, or distributor - **Address:** Physical location of the company - **Contacts:** People associated with the company - **Custom Fields:** Additional fields configured in Settings **Company Name:** The name of the organisation **Company Type:** Customer, supplier, or distributor **Address:** Physical location of the company **Contacts:** People associated with the company **Custom Fields:** Additional fields configured in Settings ### Why use companies? When creating a work order, you select the company the work relates to.
